Hoshin Strategic Deployment Workshop

Overview:
This pre-conference seminar will focus on the utilization of Hoshin Kanri techniques in the deployment and monitoring of organizational strategic plans. Most organizations can develop their own strategic plans but those plans often get diffused in their deployment and execution. The tracking and auditing progress against the strategic plan is cumbersome and, in many cases, is abandoned over the course of time because “things have changed.” The strategic plan itself becomes nothing more than “credenza – ware”. Much of the time and effort spent in the creation of the strategic plan is thereby wasted.

This seminar will consist of instruction, individual work, a case study, group discussion and team activities. It will be highly interactive with a focus on real time situations and issues. Participants are encouraged to bring appropriate information from their own organization’s plans and deployment materials with them for their own private analysis and assessment within the seminar.
