Concept Engineering 2-Day Workshop
April 24th and 25th 8:30 – 5:00
(Please email service@goalqpc.com if you plan to attend this track, limited seats)
Overview:
Concept Engineering addresses a fundamental challenge faced across all industries: how to cost effectively develop product and service concepts that they are confident will satisfy—and even delight—their customers.
CQM’s intensive, hands-on, two-day Concept Engineering workshop is a customer- centered process for clarifying the "fuzzy front end" of the product development process that precedes detailed design and implementation. The workshop uses a case study to learn and practice various methods including Voice of the Customer research, Language Processing, and Requirements matrices. Based on more than 20 years of research and development by Japanese scholars, Concept Engineering relies heavily on methodologies developed at MIT, on research conducted by Gary Burchill, Ph.D., at CQM, and on learning from implementations at numerous companies. The Concept Engineering method has been cited in many sources as a best practice in product and service development, and is widely used by CQM members in their product development efforts.
