Hillerich & Bradsby’s Bionic Glove

Hillerich & Bradsby Company is known for its world famous Louisville Slugger baseball bat.  While this Louisville-based company has had tremendous success in the manufacture of baseball, softball, golf and hockey equipment, the sports equipment field, like others, has become increasingly competitive.  For companies to survive and thrive they must innovate in their products and processes, and build leadership in new markets.

During this session, leaders from Hillerich & Bradsby Company will share their experience in developing and marketing the Bionic Glove (www.bionicglove.com).

They will share their experiences working with a medical professional, Dr. Jim Klienert, to innovate around a common low-tech product to create a glove unlike any glove on the market because it incorporates the science of anatomy and ergonomics.  Hillerich & Bradsby Company will share the challenges the company had to overcome to take on this new product and enter this new market.  The speakers will also share the successes they have had with the Bionic Glove, and where they are headed in the future with the Bionic Glove and other projects.
